Cute Date Ideas!

What I think are great dating ideas…and you know dating, like everything else, depends on a few different things like whether you know each other well, how much money you might have or if the weather is just too perfect to stay inside. SO, thinking of all that, I thought it might be fun to give different dating ideas for different situations! Read on, and let me know what you think!

FIRST DATES:
1. Watch an outdoor movie – Going to a movie is pretty worn out in the world of first date ideas. You can resurrect it in a fun way by going to see a movie outdoors or, even better, at a drive-in movie theater if you still happen to have one near where you live.

2. Play video games – PS2, Nintendo, Xbox, it doesn’t matter. If your date is into video games and you’ve got strong thumbs, it might be time for a bit of virtual smackdown! Just be careful not to beat your date too badly at whatever video game you decide to play. You don’t want your first date ideas to turn into video-game-inspired revenge ideas. =)

3. Create your own picnic – Pick a nice spot near where you’re meeting up and swing by a grocery store or take-out restaurant for some quick eats before setting up camp for food and conversation with your new favorite person. There’s no need to spend a lot of money. Picnics are supposed to be simple and you want it to be about getting to know your date, not truffles wrapped in gold foil!

CASUAL/CUTE DATES:
1. A coffee shop or cafe for lunch is a  fun and casual date idea.  It’s cheap, fun and intimate enough nand it is casual enought so it doesn’t put too many expctations on anyone!  It’s a great time to have a good chat, and get to know each other a little more.

2. Have your guy come over to your house and cook together! You can have fun, and be cute whilst cooking! Bake a cake, or cookies. Whatever you decide on… It also gives you time for some kissing in between batches! Haha!

ACTIVE DATES:
1. Go to the beach with your guy! It’s always an adventure… It’s fun to just hang out, tan, chat and swim!

2. If you don’t live by the beach, or even if you do, another fun date is to take a nice walk in the woods. It gives you time to talk and be away from everything else. Take a picnic along, with your favorite treats! It’s fun, active and romantic… A date you both will never forget!

CREATIVE DATES:
1. Take a moonlit walk in a local park with a good flashlight, clear paths, and the
crazy anticipation of what you might find ahead. Join a group with a guide if it’ll make you feel
safer.

2. Pretend You’re a Tourist* date. Look around your city and spend a day or evening
doing the things a tourist might do – go to an overlook, a quaint neighborhood, the botanical
gardens, a museum, whatever is special about your hometown. Gawk if you like, after all you’re
a tourist.

3. Do something silly that reminds you of your childhood Climb a tree together, catch
lightning bugs, or feed some ducks.

CHEAP DATES:
1. A great cheap idea is to go to your boyfriends house (or the other way around) and hang out! For example; watch movies, play video games, explore the neighborhood. It’s lets you both have fun and have time to talk to each other. It also gives you the chance to have some private time together… You know what I mean! Haha!

2. Get an adrenaline rush at the roller-skating rink. As long as you don't mind being the oldest people there who aren't chaperoning their children, it's a great way to have fun and let loose with each other. Top it off with a bowl of ice cream when you get home.

3. Get on thin ice. Depending on the weather, head to an indoor or outdoor ice-skating rink — it's the perfect excuse to hold hands, "accidentally" fall on top of each other, and grab a cup of hot chocolate and cozy up to each other to keep warm.

SO, there we have it. Try a few of these and let me know whether you and your special friend had a great time! (;

xoxo,
Eda.
